Project Cactus Avant is a 1999 Audi A4 Avant Quattro equipped with an AEB 1.8T and Tiptronic transmission.

Well over 200,000 miles and counting!

History:

This is THE CAR that sparked Rodrick's love for B5 Audi's in the early 2000's.  At that time, the family business had a retail shop neighboring the local eye Doctor's office.  Rodrick became very good friends with the Doctor's family.   The good Doctor being a wise family man, purchased the most underrated compact crossover SUV of all time, a B5 Avant!   A younger Roddy spent time cruising the Shenandoah Valley in the back seat of this very car.

Years have passed from then until now and the car has spent some time relaxing out of service.  Of course the S4RW Crew would jump at the opportunity to save a B5!

2020...the year smeared by COVID-19 delayed a lot of our plans for the Cactus Wagon.  Roddy washed the car. Some parts were ordered.
